A large metro, scoped site by site

Ophion Tactical Security staffs armed security programs, events and protection assignments in the Houston area under Texas DPS license B28459401. Armed posts and patrols are staffed by Level III commissioned security officers, and protection assignments by Level IV Personal Protection Officers.

Houston covers a lot of ground, and its business districts are far apart: Downtown, Uptown near the Galleria, the Energy Corridor along I-10 on the west side, and industrial property along the Ship Channel to the east. Katy, Sugar Land and The Woodlands add their own office parks and dealerships. Distance matters when coverage is planned, so each site is scoped on its own location, hours and entry points.

If you are not sure which discipline fits, describe the site, the event or the principal and we scope it with you.

Three disciplines. One standard.

What Ophion does in this market, by discipline. Each assignment is scoped with you before anyone is scheduled.

Commercial

Level III · Armed

Commercial armed security in Houston

In the Houston area, Ophion offers armed coverage for warehouses and industrial sites, commercial properties and offices, construction sites and automotive dealerships.

Warehouse and yard programs center on the gate: who and what comes in, truck and trailer logs, and yard patrols between arrivals. Office programs focus on the lobby, access control and after-hours checks. For a company with several properties across the metro, mobile patrol can cover them on a schedule, with door and gate checks and written patrol reports.

Events

Level III · Level IV as needed

Event security in Houston

Ophion provides Level III event security in Houston for weddings, private, VIP and brand events and festivals and conventions. Before the event, we hold a planning call or walk the venue to set posts, timing and points of contact. Officers are briefed on the schedule and the layout before doors open.

Events on public streets and property in Houston go through the Mayor’s Office of Special Events. If your event falls under that process, send us what the City has asked for along with the venue, date and expected guest count, and we plan the private security around it.

When a speaker or guest of honor needs close coverage, Level IV protection agents can be added to the same event.

Protection

Level IV · Personal protection

Executive protection in Houston

Ophion Tactical Security provides Level IV personal protection in Houston and the surrounding area for executives, public figures, families and individuals who need protection for a specific situation. Agents are armed Level IV Personal Protection Officers and work in a suit and tie or plainclothes.

Coverage is planned with whoever manages the principal’s schedule, such as an executive assistant or a chief of staff, and agents coordinate with venue security and drivers. Protection can be temporary, for example around a court appearance or a sensitive meeting, or it can be ongoing.

Ophion works in Harris, Fort Bend and Montgomery counties, including Katy, Sugar Land and The Woodlands. The Houston area is large, so staffing depends on where the site is and the hours it needs. Send the address and schedule and we tell you plainly whether we can staff it.

Usually gate control, truck and trailer logs, yard patrols and incident reporting. The post orders spell out who may enter, what is logged and who is called. Ophion writes them after walking the site with you, or by phone where a walk is not practical.

Not necessarily. A posted officer suits a property that needs access control or a fixed presence. Mobile patrol covers several properties with scheduled vehicle patrols and door and gate checks. Ophion scopes either one, or a mix of both, around your sites.

Yes. Coverage is planned with whoever manages the schedule, such as an executive assistant or chief of staff, and agents coordinate with venue security and drivers. Send the dates and locations. Names can wait until we talk.
