Event security for Texas venues, planners and hosts
Security should support your event without becoming the focus of it. Ophion Tactical Security staffs single-day and short-run events with Level III commissioned security officers and plans the posts with whoever is running the event before doors open. Officers work in uniform from that plan and handle guest issues by de-escalating first.

What we ask before quoting
To scope an event we need the date, the venue, the expected guest count and the hours you want covered. It also helps to know how guests enter, whether alcohol is served and whether the venue has security requirements of its own. If some of that is not settled yet, send what you have.
Planning with the venue and the planner
Ophion Tactical Security holds a planning call or walks the venue before the event to set posts, timing and points of contact. Officers are briefed on the post orders, the event schedule and the layout before doors open, so the people running the event know who to go to.
For venues that host events regularly
A venue can name Ophion as its preferred or required security provider. That relationship is set up as an ongoing armed security program, so the venue’s expectations carry from one event to the next and do not have to be explained again each time.
When one guest needs closer coverage
When a speaker, donor or guest of honor needs close coverage, Level IV protection agents can be added to the same event, in a suit and tie or plainclothes. See executive protection for how that is planned.

Send the date, the venue and the hours. Staffing depends on the location, how much coverage the event needs and how many officers it takes. If your date is fixed, we tell you plainly whether we can staff it.

Need more than one kind of coverage?
Some assignments do, such as an event that needs security officers at the doors and a protection agent with the guest of honor. Open a category to see everything we staff.
