Festival and convention security for organizers

Conventions, expos and organizer-run festivals share one thing: you control the space. Ophion Tactical Security plans posts from your site map, credential plan and schedule, then staffs them with Level III commissioned security officers.

Straight answers.

The questions people ask before they reach out. If yours isn’t here, ask us directly.

It depends on guest count, venue layout, entry points, the event schedule and any venue requirements. Ophion reviews those details with you, then recommends how many officers to post and where.

Yes. Ophion works directly with venues, planners and hosting parties, and can serve as a venue’s preferred or required security provider. A venue relationship is set up as an ongoing armed security program, so venue expectations carry from one event to the next.

It depends on the role. Level III commissioned security officers work events in uniform as the visible security presence. When the event or a particular guest calls for a more discreet presence, Level IV protection agents work in a suit and tie or plainclothes, and one event can use both.

Yes. Ophion Tactical Security holds Texas Department of Public Safety license B28459401. Armed security officers are Level III commissioned security officers, and protection agents are Level IV Personal Protection Officers.

Send us the location, the schedule and what you need protected. We follow up to go over the details and confirm the scope with you. Your quote is built on that scope: the site, event or person, the hours and the staffing it takes.

You get a realistic start date, not a guess. It depends on where the assignment is, how much coverage it needs and how many officers it takes. If your event date is fixed, we tell you plainly whether we can staff it.

Need more than one kind of coverage?

Some assignments do, such as an event that needs security officers at the doors and a protection agent with the guest of honor. Open a category to see everything we staff.

Tell us what you need protected.

You don’t need to have it all figured out. Tell us what you need, and we’ll help you work out what coverage makes sense.
